Interpretation

Oracle Language Centre offers a range of interpreting services to meet the needs of our clients. Whether you need a conference interpreted simultaneously or a business meeting interpreted consecutively, we have the right interpreter in our team for your needs.

We offer the following modes of interpreting services in these languages:  French, English, German, Arabic and Chinese.  

• Simultaneous Interpreting

Behind-the-scenes, real-time interpreting for conferences, large meetings and high-level official talks.

• Whispered Simultaneous Interpreting

(also known as Chuchotage) In-audience real-time interpreting for an individual or small group of people who require interpretation into their mother tongue. Done at a whisper, with the interpreter sat amongst the target audience.

• Consecutive Interpreting

Small and medium-sized group interpreting. The interpreter stands with the speaker and repeats – in the target language – either a whole sentence, having taken notes, or in more manageable portions (often called “chunking”).

• Liaison Interpreting

Suitable for more informal meetings between a smaller number of people, or perhaps as a chaperone for someone visiting a country whose language they do not speak.

Our Private English and Foreign Language Classes are designed to meet the language learning needs of a wide range of students across all proficiency levels. Highly customizable and taught by experienced teachers, our private language courses are the perfect choice for people who need a class schedule that fits their busy lifestyle.

Before starting a private class program, students undergo a comprehensive needs assessment to determine their current proficiency level and what specific course content will best serve their individual learning requirements. This highly individualized process allows us to ensure that all students achieve fast and reliable progress in their language studies.

Tutoring services

Oracle Language Centre provides individualized tutoring assistance in subjects such as French, English, German, Arabic and Chinese to undergraduate and graduate students.

The sessions are designed to meet individual needs, tutoring is generally conducted in one-on-one or small group sessions.
